Washington, D.C. – The crackdown on Sanctuary Cities is about to begin. Lawlessness will not rule the day in these “Left-wing sanctuary cities.”
The Justice Department announced that they will be filing lawsuits and taking action against Sanctuary Cities. For those of you new to this term, a “Sanctuary City” is a jurisdiction where the government does not cooperate with immigration and other federal law enforcement when an illegal alien is in custody.
Here are some highlights of the Fox News article:
Charging that so-called “sanctuary” cities that protect illegal immigrants are jeopardizing domestic security, Attorney General Bill Barr announced a slew of additional sanctions that he called a “significant escalation” against left-wing local and state governments that obstruct the “lawful functioning of our nation’s immigration system.”

Barr is entirely right for identifying these cities as left-wing. Even Democrats (many who voted for President Trump), don’t like criminals roaming the streets. They especially don’t like foreign nationals receiving special treatment.

Not only is this the long-overdue right thing to do, but this crackdown will be a significant election issue for President Trump and Republicans. Democrats will fall for the trap of trying to make an issue of this, not realizing they are on the WRONG SIDE to the average American. This issue and the booming economy make President Trump’s re-election prospects look pretty healthy.

I’m ready to crackdown on all sanctuary cities, counties, and states. These illegal immigrants who commit crimes should not be protected. This lawlessness by the Democrats is a disgrace and a safety issue for all US citizens. It’s about time something be done. CO has turned into an illegal immigrant breeding ground. I am disgusted with the ulta- liberal leadership of this state.
