Washington, D.C. — President-elect Joe Biden plans to end the Keystone XL oil pipeline on day one of his presidency, according to multiple news outlets.
Jason Kenney, the Premier of Alberta who worked to secure the job-making deal, released a statement urging Biden to reconsider.
Kenney laid plain the harm Biden’s plan to end the Presidential Permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. He rightly stated that ending the permit would “kill jobs on both sides of the border.”
Kenney further pointed out that ending the permit will damage relations between the United States and Canada as well as “undermine US national security by making the United States more dependent on OPEC oil imports in the future.”

The U.S. became a net exporter of petroleum for the first time in September of 2019 under President Donald Trump. Biden, beholden to the far-left wing of the Democratic party, intends to undo that progress.
Ironically, the Biden administration falls to the left of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on energy production, making Biden a serious threat to U.S. energy independence.
Eliminating the Keystone XL project is just the beginning for the Biden Administration.

The route of the Keystone has many other pipe line crossing , had been that way for decades, but why tell the truth. The Keystone line could keep us independent from out side suppliers, if we could refine the crude, we have not built a refinery for decades or more, as planned by the liberal/socialist and their attack dogs e.p.a. They do not want us to be independent of foreign oil ever. Their agenda is to have everyone in peddle vehicles, or if any one could afford an electric thing, which for the most part needs electric generating power plants, ie. coal gas, water to produce the power that would not be cost prohibited like solar and wind ( wind needs gas heaters). Now having written this, if the oil is to be shipped to foreign countries, that is an other discussion.
The Left doesn’t care about the environment. Their New Green Deal is a cover for the destruction of an industry that is the backbone of American Capitalism. Watch how America’s Gross Domestic Product drops as these Neo Marxists poison our economy. The subversion of our country is now unchecked.
