VIDEO: The National Association for Gun Rights Slam Republicans for Supporting Red Flag

Washington, DC — The National Association for Gun Rights slammed several Republican members of congress for supporting Red Flag gun confiscation this past week.

The gun-rights organization, long considered a hardcore no-compromise alternative to the NRA, wrote in an email blast:

The culture of compromise within the Republican Party is contagious…

Earlier this month I informed you of the disturbing plot by the gun grabbers to hijack the National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA to sneak “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation into law.

With your help Sarah, we sent a clear message to the politicians that a vote for the “Red Flag” laden version of the NDAA is vote for Gun Confiscation.

Shamefully, the anti-gun version of the NDAA was advanced in the house by a vote of 316 to 113.

And 135 of the anti-gun votes came from “Republican” Congressmen.

Apparently the politicians thought we were bluffing.

I assure you Sarah, we most certainly were not.

The politicians who betrayed our military heroes will be dealt with in due time.

But first we need to make sure the Senate doesn’t make the same mistake.

The organization website states they have 4.5 million members and are a loud opponent to Red Flag. They are known for playing hard nose politics have no qualms about calling out members of both parties.

In the same email, they went on to call a few congressional members by name for making excuses for supporting it:

In a predictable attempt to cover their tracks, countless supposedly pro-gun politicians began making nonsensical claims, but don’t take my word for it.

*** There’s a lot of minutia behind the scenes, this is how Washington works… Now, let me explain to you the “Red Flag” portion of that. So, that was a portion that yes it was in that bill…I’ve spoken to people on the Senate side and I know for a fact this will not go into law.Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC-11)

*** The provision that everyone is talking about being a “Red Flag” law was actually a dead provision. Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL-3)

*** The problematic provision you are referring to as a ‘red flag’ law for active duty service members (it’s debatable whether or not it actually is, but that is beside the point) was already agreed to be struck from the bill before it becomes final in the House/Senate conference. Everyone voted for the defense bill knowing this ahead of time. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX-2)

If you think their incoherent circular logic sounds like a bunch of political nonsense meant to confuse the electorate, you are right.

They have a decent YouTube channel that is worth checking out. Here is one of the shorts they posted a few days back:

  1. I believe the RED FLAG law is totally wrong. If I were angry at someone I’ve know for years I could call the police and say he/ she has a gun and has been threatening different ppl. Even though it’s NOT TRUE they will go arrest that person and take their weapons. Then that person would have to go to court to prove it a lie and even may not get their weapons back. This is wrong. There needs to be a law that if found innocent ,the person that called police must pay all court costs n loss of that person’s wages and that person could sue for emotional damage. 😡😡😡😡😡 LEAVE OUR GUNS ALONE, WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTECT OURSELVES ,EVEN MORE SO NOW THAT BIDEN IS LETTING IN MILLIONS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM ANYWHERE. LOCK N LOAD PPL OUR GOVERNMENT IS NOT PROTECTING US ANYMORE. PROTECT YOURSELVES. GOD HELP US . AMEN 🙏

  2. Perhaps these lightweights don’t understand that red flag laws were created to transfer the power licensed to the psychiatric community to unqualified persons more obedient to democrats, e.g., local judges and crotchety old aunts. Maybe they don’t know that due process requires reports from two psychiatrists, one from each side, legal representation, arraignment, indictment and trial by jury.

If they’d ask, they’d know nobody wants criminals to have firearms but to be taken seriously, if the accused is a danger to himself or others, he should be legally arrested. In other words, take the man but leave the guns. As legislators, they shoudl law, they’d know the line of inheritance codified in state laws defines the legal custodian of any property. Jailing people for oppositional thoughts is just one small step from recreating concentration camps and mass annihilation.

    1. Correction to my comment:

As legislators, they should know the line of inheritance codified in state laws defines the legal custodian of any property. If they read some history, they’d know jailing people for oppositional thoughts is just one small step from re-creating concentration camps and mass annihilation.

  3. More red flag laws, to move this country closer to socialism, for the liberal/socialist to do this they must disarm the public by any means they can conjure up. They spend billions to make sure their agenda to disarm real American citizens happen, they will say any thing, lie to make it happen. They have been hell bent on eliminating our Republic, attacking our Constitution to do so. As we have suspected for years there are a lot of so called Republicans that will go a long with the liberal/socialist, why? They would rather sacrifice our Constitutional rights, not stand up to the liberal/socialist agenda, to ensure they get re-elected, or is there other nefarious reasons, secrets they are hiding? The things that have been unfolding in dc is pushing us closer to………………………………………………….?

  4. The ones who voted for this legislation were assured the Red Flag provisions would be struck. This has happened the last 2 years in the NDAA. Each time it was struck. Should they let this crap be included in the NDAA, even if they know it will be struck? Oh hell NO! That they would even give them this much is disgusting. Their job is protecting our rights — ALL of them! That they would risk them in a game of political chicken, is telling and we need to let them know that it is not conducive to staying in office.
